Auto-Renewal Terms

For the Standing Read membership.

The Standing Read is a monthly membership that renews automatically. Here's exactly how the billing works, in plain language, so nothing about it ever surprises you.

What you're enrolling in. When you're approved for a seat, you're enrolling in the Standing Read at $49 per month (your founding rate). This is a recurring membership, not a one-time purchase.

Automatic renewal. Your card is charged today, and then the same amount on the same date each month, automatically, until you cancel. You don't need to do anything to stay enrolled. Your founding rate is locked — as long as your membership stays active without interruption, your monthly price won't rise, even when the rate goes up for new members.

How to cancel. You can cancel anytime by emailing letstalk@proofpositiveskincare.com. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your upcoming billing date. I confirm every cancellation myself — you'll get a reply, not a silent void.

When cancellation takes effect. Canceling stops your next charge. You keep access through the period you've already paid for, right up to the end of that month. Fees for a month already billed aren't refunded — but you're never locked into another one, and you can rejoin later at the rate available then.

If it's time to graduate. When your skin settles into steady maintenance and a seat would no longer be worth your money, I'll tell you honestly that it's time to graduate — and help you cancel — so your seat opens for the next person who needs it.

Price changes. Your founding rate holds for as long as you stay continuously enrolled. If the base membership price ever changes, I'll let you know in advance, and it won't affect your locked rate unless you cancel and rejoin later.

Failed or declined payments. If a monthly charge doesn't go through, I'll email you so we can sort it out. Your access may pause until the payment is resolved.

Your agreement. By enrolling, you're agreeing to recurring monthly billing at your founding rate until you cancel, on the terms above. You can cancel at any time.
